Clara Immerwahr Award 2024: Call for applications

The call for applications for the Clara Immerwahr Award 2024 is now open. The application deadline is November 5, 2023.

Established by UniCat in 2011, the Clara Immerwahr Award aims to advance equity and excellence in catalysis research by supporting young female scientists in the early stages of their careers. This award is a tribute to Dr. Clara Immerwahr (1870-1915), who achieved the distinction of becoming Germany's first woman to earn a doctorate in Physical Chemistry in 1900.

Administered by UniSysCat, the Clara Immerwahr Award is granted annually to a promising young female scientist, either from Germany or abroad, who is in the early phases of her career (postdoctoral fellow or junior researcher). This recognition celebrates exceptional achievements in the field of Catalysis Research. The recipient is awarded a grant of 15,000 Euros to facilitate a research stay at UniSysCat, fostering opportunities for close collaboration with UniSysCat's research groups.
