Meet Female UniSysCat Scientists

Start Time: Monday, February 7, 2022 02:34 pm

End Time:

It's breakfast time! Bring your cup of coffee and talk to successful female researchers: Meet four female UniSysCat group leaders and talk about their research interests and their careers. Feel free to ask all your questions concerning career options in academia. We would be happy to encourage women to stay in academia! Your questions will be answered by the four female group leaders:

Prof. Dr. Franziska Heß from the Technical University of Berlin is researching catalyst degradation employing different theoretical methods such as kinetic Monte Carlo simulations.

Prof. Dr. Henrike Müller-Werkmeister is a group leader at the University of Potsdam. She's working on protein dynamics and allostery using different ultrafast spectroscopy methods.

Dr. Ariane Nunes Alves is a junior group leader at the Technical University Berlin. She has an expertise in molecular modeling and the simulation of ligand-protein interactions.

Prof. Dr. Petra Wendler from the University of Potsdam is studying biological assemblies such as  multiprotein complexes with cryo electron microscopy.

When? Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 10 am.
Where? Online via Zoom.
How to participate? Please write an email to registration(at)unisyscat.tu-berlin.de

We're happy to contribute to the empowerment of young women in science! Find the event also on the website of the IUPAC Global Women's Breakfast. Please register for the event via email to: registration(at)unisyscat.tu-berlin.de - Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation including the zoom-link to the event.
