Today's Award Ceremony took place in TU Berlin's chemistry building, lecture room C 243 and was opened with remarks by TU Berlin President, Prof. Dr. Christian Thomsen and a welcome speech by UniSysCat spokesperson, Prof. Dr. Arne Thomas.

Prof. Dr. Beatriz Roldan Cuenya (FHI Berlin), who will be working together with Dr. Maria Escudero Escribano for a minimum of three years, held the laudation.

The scientific program started with the award lecture: Dr. Maria Escudero Escribano, University of Copenhagen, Denmark: “Tailored Electrocatalysts for Energy Conversion and Production of Renewable Fuels and Chemicals”.

The guest lecture was held by  Prof. Dr. Clémence Corminboeuf, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL): "Blending Old Concepts with Quantum Machine Learning to Discover New Homogenous Catalysts".
