The Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften (LNDW) returns after a two-year break! This year, the guiding idea of LNDW is once again: science as an answer to fake news, conspiracy theories and fatal errors. Because unlike fake news, science always keeps an eye on the complexity and diversity of our modern world - red-hot and more important than ever.
Together with the Institute of Chemistry at the Technische Universität Berlin, UniSysCat will be utting together a colourful programme: On the car park in front of the chemistry building, some experiments await you to participate in and marvel at. These include burning soap bubbles, a catalysis minigolf and experiments with household objects. A swimming pool invites you to take a dip in a Non-Newtonian liquid. Even if it fizzes and pops - children are welcome to join in! We invite you to get to know the world of chemistry - and catalysis - up close.
