Every year in June, the Long Night of Science in Berlin invites you to spectacular experiments, exciting lectures, science shows and laboratory tours in around 50 scientific institutions in Berlin. As every year, UniSysCat also took part: this time in the Excellent Pub Quiz at the TU Berlin.
For the third time, the seven Berlin Clusters of Excellence hosted the “Excellent Pub Quiz” as part of the “Long Night of Science” at TU Berlin. The turnout was particularly high this year and the atmosphere was excellent - both rounds of the quiz were fully booked with over 170 participants in more than 58 teams!
The winners in the first round were: 1st place: Lie-Monaden, 2nd place: Die 2 Dudes, 3rd place: Die Algebros
And in the second quiz round: 1st place: Bairliner Bairen 2nd place: Die Weichen 3rd place: Divan
The quiz evening offered exciting and fun questions from the research areas of the seven clusters - from catalysis and green chemistry (UniSysCat) to application-oriented mathematics (MATH+) and intelligent research (Science of Intelligence) to liberal orders (SCRIPTS) and materials research (Matters of Activity) as well as neurosciences (NeuroCure) and world literature (Temporal Communities).
