On Saturday, 15 June 2019 at 5:00 p.m. "The Long Night of the Sciences" will kick off for the 18th  time. You can visit the events of the “Long Night” program until midnight at approximately 70 scientific centers in Berlin and Potsdam.
The Institute of Chemistry and UniSysCat participate with an attractive program.
For the first time UniSysCat offers a rallye that covers several projects at TU Berlin, HU Berlin, FU Berlin and FHI Berlin.

This year UniSysCat took part of the Long Night of Sciences, dubbed as one of the “smartest nights of the year”, at the Chemistry Institute of the Technical University of Berlin.

On Thursday, 11 July 2019 at 1:00 p.m. UniSysCat is present on the 31. "Day of The Chemistry" in the Lichthof of Technische Universität Berlin.

Prof. Dr. Jan Paradies, Universität Paderborn, will hold a lecture on "FLP-catalyzed Reduction of Phosphine Oxides and Carboxylic Amides".

The UniSysCat opening event will take place in the Audimax, the large auditorium of TU Berlin

Prof. Dr. Frances M. Ross, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA will be awarded the Gerhard Ertl Lecture in 2019.

As every year once their "Initial Phase" is finished, the new PhD students of EC2/BIG-NSE have the great opportunity to present their PhD work plan in front of the UniSysCat community.

UniSysCat will be continuing the former tradition from UniSysCat by hosting this year's New Year's Reception.

At the annual UniSysCat retreat our members have the opportunity to learn about current research topics and affairs within the organisation.

The first UniSysCat – Scientific Advisory Board meeting (SAB) will take place from 30 September until 1 October 2020.

UniSysCat will be showcasing the Cluster of Excellence at the Berlin Science Week.

The UniSysCat Annual General Meeting will take place on November 25, 2020, 4 pm. The AGM will be held online. 

The UniSysCat Junior Research Leader Symposium in Theoretical Structural Biology will take place on December 8, 2020, 10 am to 3 pm. 

UniSysCat invites you to the Gerhard Ertl Lecture 2020 from the Fritz Haber Institute on the 10th of December, 2020. 

After the annual report by cluster spokesperson Prof. Dr. Arne Thomas, we will have a talk about "Machine Learning meets Quantum Chemistry" by Prof. Dr. Klaus-Robert Müller will give a talk.

As part of this year's IUPAC Global Women's Breakfast, UniSysCat will be hosting an online meeting: Four female UniSysCat scientists are available to answer your questions concerning a career in academia.
