UniSysCat at the Berlin Science Week 2020

From Greenhouse gas to fuel? Revolutionary catalysis? Join us during Berlin Science Week, meet our researchers and find out what we do at the UniSysCat Cluster of Excellence – and how our research contributes to the development of green and sustainable chemistry.
In a live demonstration of experiments, Prof Arne Thomas will showcase how exciting catalysis research is and which areas are currently being explored.
Dr. Silke Leimkühler, University of Potsdam, and Dr. Beatriz Roldán Cuenya, Fritz Haber Institute, follow up with a discussion of their work on developing methods to produce energy from CO2.
The revolutionary research taking place at UniSysCat will further be presented by junior researchers Franziska Hess, Marius Horch and Tobias Gensch. Four female professors will then share their experiences and discuss the opportunities and barriers they faced on their career journey.
The program will conclude with a brief Science Party: meet the speakers and the staff of the UniSysCat office at TU Berlin.
