DESCRIPTION:Have you always wanted to know why young people go into research? Then here you have the opportunity to meet scientists from the Clusters of Excellence  of the Berlin University Alliance. The researchers will tell you their story in a short lecture - personal, vivid and exciting. Afterwards, there will be time for personal talks.\nFor UniSysCat, Sabine Oldemeyer will will give an insight into her work as a biophysicist. Sabine is currently doing a PostDoc in the group of Prof. Joachim Heberle at Freie Universität Berlin. Her scientific focus is on light-induced processes in retinal proteins and cryptochromes.\nCome to Mall Anders and meet scientists from research fields as diverse as mathematics and literature, as brain research and material sciences, chemistry and democracy research. Meet the scientists and be carried away by their stories!\nAbout the visit at "Mall Anders".\nThe venue is the premises of Mall Anders, a pop-up science lab located in the ground floor of the "Wilma Shoppen" center formerly known as "Wilmersdorfer Arcarden".\n\n
